Winning his trust with patience
Eva decided to try a different approach. For several days, she brought him tasty food to gradually win him over. Bit by bit, the dog ventured closer, until he finally accepted food straight from her hand! It was a massive breakthrough.
Next, Eva returned with food and a mild sedative. With the help of a local resident, she managed to gently get the dog into her car. She took him straight to the veterinary clinic, where the sweet boy received all the medical care he desperately needed. Finally, his rescuer brought him home. Eva asked her online followers to help choose a name, and they came up with Atlas – which fits him perfectly!
