In Vermont, USA, the Central Vermont Humane Society rescued a trio straight out of the Disney film, The Incredible Journey.
As reported by NBC 5, the two dogs and a cat were found wandering together in the town of Williamstown on 3rd March 2025.
In need of urgent care
The charity quickly realised that the animals were in poor condition. The two dogs and cat had never received even basic care. The team immediately got to work nursing the three friends back to health.
An unbreakable bond
The volunteers knew they couldn't possibly separate the three friends. While River and Rain quickly adjusted to life off the streets, Reed the cat was far more shy. Over time, however, the little group began to feel at ease.
