A very strong bond
From the moment the dog sniffed the kitten, she bonded with him instantly. She wanted to protect him at all costs, even when there was no danger in sight! In the video below, you can see that the dog has become a real ”bodyguard” for the kitten. She doesn't hesitate to growl to stop the family's other dog from coming near.
Her behaviour is just like a protective parent who doesn't want anyone disturbing their baby during naptime. On TikTok, users were won over instantly. They joked that the little feline seemed completely unaware of all the fuss around him.

While this protective behaviour can be heartwarming, dog owners should still remain cautious. When a dog ”guards” another animal, it can sometimes be a sign of resource guarding.
In some cases, this attitude can be linked to a need for security, attention-seeking, or stress. However, we are sure that the friendship between these two animals has many wonderful years ahead!
