Chiwee's new family learned that the little dog had grown up with cats.
They were even lucky enough to see old photos of the pooch alongside his previous family's cat.
Surprising habits
And this information proved to be very useful for Chiwee's new family. They soon realised that the Chihuahua had developed some very cat-like habits...
For example, the dog lies down just like a cat, in what's often called a 'loaf', with his paws tucked under his little body. You can see this strange habit for yourself in the video below.
A cat in disguise?
But that's not all. Chiwee's owner mentioned that she's spotted the dog jumping exceptionally high for his little legs, just like a cat would.
On top of that, Chiwee is extremely quiet. He doesn't make a sound when he moves around and never barks. In fact, he's so stealthy that his owner is sometimes surprised to find him in the same room as her.
In the video's comments, people were very curious. One person asked, "Does this mean that growing up with cats improves their behaviour?" while another said, "I think Chihuahuas are more cat than dog!" And many others shared photos of their own Chihuahuas perched on cat trees with their feline siblings. It's absolutely hilarious to see!
