TikTok users were left in tears, after the adopter of a senior rescue dog shared a video of her new friend enjoying the garden for the first time.

"You really did it. You saved the adult dog that spent 90% of his life at a rescue and gave him the yard he's always dreamt about", she explained, sharing a clip of the brown and white dog zooming around the garden.

His happiness is indescribable, having spent five years in and out of the shelter system..

The happiest boy

Having been adopted as a puppy, Buster never really had a home of his own. He was abandoned as soon as he reached adulthood, left at a rescue centre by his family.

He was then adopted again, but heartbreakingly found himself back in kennels due to "excessive excitment".

Fortunately, Cristy fell in love with Buster, and she immediately decided to give him the best life possible. Goodbye shelter, hello home life with a wonderful garden to play in!

Heartwarming zoomies

Upon arriving at his new home, Buster decided to unleash all his enthusiasm. He was so happy with his new garden he couldn't stop zooming around, and his reaction touched the hearts of thousands of viewers around the world.

'Look at him go! He's so happy', wrote a viewer online.

"Not just a garden and a house, but love and people of his own, the garden is a bonus", replied another.
