Refusing to budge on walks

Hi everyone,

My 5-month-old Golden is being very stubborn when we go for a walk, except when we take him to the dog park (he knows the way perfectly and charges off to play with his mates...). If he’s decided he’s not walking, he won’t walk... He comes to a dead stop and it’s impossible to move him. We’re in a great area for it too, with no overstimulation or passing cars. He even behaves like this on his first walk of the day, so it can't be down to tiredness. I reward him with treats when he walks nicely.

So, there we have it... I’d love to hear about your own experiences.
