Hi everyone,
I've had a little female cat for 2 years now who lives with another cat ten years older than her, and they've always got on really well.
Everything was going fine until last summer. She started peeing right next to her litter tray.
There has been no change in the type of litter, and no changes to my flat either. Basically, nothing as far as I know that could have stressed her out.
First of all, I took her to the vet to make sure she didn’t have any physical health issues. The results came back clear.
After that, I tried loads of different methods: changing the litter tray itself, switching the litter, taking the lid off, changing the location, using Feliway and other enzymatic odour neutralisers, cleaning the area with bleach, adding valerian or dried catnip to the litter, but nothing has worked. I even tried putting a puppy pad on the floor where she was urinating and tried moving it closer to the litter tray... but with no luck.
Do you have any other advice for me?
Thanks in advance
