Do microchips hurt?

Hi, I was just wondering, is it painful for a dog to get microchipped? And do they continue to feel it under their skin once its implanted? Does it hurt them?...

    Hi, it is a very quick procedure similar to a vaccination! No, it does not hurt the dog. No anaesthetic is required and the procedure should cause no more discomfort than a standard vaccination.
