Cat licking and pulling out hair.

My cat has been licking ,chewing,pulling out her hair on all four legs. Bald patches visible and getting worse.I have been to vets but they say it can be various things,pain,boredom etc.Does anyone had similar experiences.

My tortoiseshell cat went through something really similar and ended up with bald patches on her legs too. The vet said it could be pain or stress, so we had to rule things out gradually. A short course of pain relief and adding more enrichment at home made a big difference, and the fur eventually grew back. It wasn’t a quick fix but it was manageable once we figured out the trigger.
