AURIA PETS: The smart QR code / NFC tag for dogs and cats

Hi everyone! 🐾

As a fellow animal lover, I wanted to share a project that's really close to my heart and that I've been working on for several months: AURIA PETS. ❤️

I recently launched my own brand of smart tags for dogs and cats, with a simple goal: to make identification easier and help owners find them more quickly if they wander off or go missing.

And given how curious and adventurous our pets can be, you can never be too careful!

How does it work?

🐾 If someone finds your pet, they simply scan their tag with their phone using a QR code or NFC technology.

📱 They then see a profile with the information you’ve chosen to share: the pet's name, contact details, important health information...

📍 You can receive a text alert and their location if the person who scanned the tag agrees to share it.

🔋 All of this with no batteries, no charging, and no subscription required!

I’ve also developed several designs, including a classic hanging tag and a version that slides directly onto the collar.

The shop has just opened and, beyond presenting my project, I’d love to hear your thoughts as pet owners! 🥰

👉 Do your pets already wear an ID tag?

👉 Do you think a smart tag with text alerts would be useful?

I’d be delighted to chat with you and get your feedback!

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and give your little ones a scratch behind the ears from me! ❤️

Hi, It can be a great idea in the event of lost pets, for example, as it allows anyone who finds an animal to take them to the vet for a simple microchip scan. As a future vet student, I’d just like to remind everyone reading this post that microchipping your pet is a legal requirement (for both sale AND ownership). Kind regards, Laura
