Hi everyone,

I've noticed for a little while now that my 2-month-old puppy has a shaking front leg (it's always the same one). This happens when he’s sitting or even just standing still. However, he doesn't seem to be in any pain... he runs, plays, jumps, and when I touch his leg, it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

I’m seeing the vet in 3 weeks for his second set of jabs, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if it's something serious... if so, I won't wait the 3 weeks to get him checked out by the vet.

He might have something stuck in his paw pads, though maybe not as your dog seems to be putting weight on it, even if it is shaking. It might be better to give the vet a quick ring, though.

Yes, it is surprising. It’s true that little dogs often tremble, but in just one leg, that is a bit odd!!!! Your vet will give them a thorough check-over anyway and see if everything’s okay!!!!!

It’s a bit odd that it’s always the same leg. But if he’s running without any problems, it shouldn’t be anything serious.
