So my pup is 6 months old and stands at 35cm. Is that a good size for him? Also, his face looks quite thin – is that normal, please?

He looks like a Labrador; he doesn't look like a Staff or a Staffie.

    But he’s KC registered.

Hi there, At 6 months old, he might still have a tiny bit of growing left to do, but it won't be anything significant. I don't think he's going to broaden out like a pedigree Staffy either; even as puppies, they tend to have those chunky cheeks.

Here’s a photo of him, what do you think?

What exactly do you mean by a "good size"? Too small? Too big? Or just average for the breed? 35cm at the withers is only 5mm below the breed standard (he’ll likely make up those few millimetres fairly quickly, as at 6 months old he’s still got some growing to do). Either way, he’ll be within the standard, possibly reaching 37cm once he’s fully grown, so yes, it’s a good size (but again, it depends on whether you consider a "good size" to be quite large or just typical).

As for the thin face, it’s hard to judge without a photo, but the person above hit the nail on the head. He won’t grow much taller now, but he’ll start to fill out and broaden. It’s like a teenager who reaches their full height by 18, yet their physique continues to develop and change well beyond that point.

Have you got a recent photo?

Normally, at around 6 months for this kind of breed, they’re nearly full-grown. He’ll still change a bit though – he’s going to fill out and gain some muscle :)

I’ve got a question – I’d like to know at what age a Staffie reaches their full size? Mine is 6 months old and is about 14 inches tall, and his face is still quite narrow. Is this likely to change?

I didn't quite understand the last part of your question (the bit about his face?), but as for his size, the breed standards are 35.5 to 40.5 cm in height for a weight of 26 to 37 lbs (roughly 1st 12lb to 2st 9lb).
