Hi everyone

My two-month-old Miniature Pinscher puppy has just had a fall, he fell from my arms in the garden. I can't get hold of my vet. Just after the fall he ate, then he looked like he was going to be sick but he wasn't. He has been playing with his toys.

I've checked him all over and he doesn't yelp in pain, but I'm panicking so much.

As I said, I can't get through to my vet, otherwise I'd be calling for an emergency out-of-hours appointment.

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Dellys, that’s kind of you, but let’s not go overboard. This puppy is playing and running about, and hasn't been sick or passed out. I stand by what I said. Do you have dogs yourself, Dellys? We’re a foster family and have plenty of little furry friends. Best.

Yeah, in a sense @Dellys is right if he's been trying to be sick... well, I don't know for sure.

But what part of his body did he land on?

Yeah, if he’s eaten and is playing, then he’s fine.

Just check if he’s limping, that he’s running around okay and all that.

Small dogs are fragile, but they’re not made of china!

Actually, I think you should be worried, simply because the little guy is feeling sick after a fall.

That being said, do be careful though. Cheers.

Our little friends are pretty tough. Give his whole little body a good feel and play with him for a bit; if he isn't limping and doesn't yelp when you touch him, then everything is fine.
