French Bulldog x Staffy cross - advice needed

Hi everyone,

I've already posted asking for some training tips for my new puppy, Kaicha, who is a French Bulldog x Staffy cross.

I already have a 3-year-old Husky, but it seems to me that Frenchies can be a bit more fragile health-wise.

Could you let me know if you've run into any specific issues or if there's anything I should be extra careful about?

I'll admit I don't know much about this breed; I rescued her from a family who were about to drop her off at the RSPCA 😕 She's 4 months old.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just giving you all an update... as the owner of this adorable little fluffball! 😁

She’s growing up fast, and those ears are still just as big as ever! 😅

I was thinking the same thing about her ears! Does she always keep them pricked up like that?

Are you sure he’s not part rabbit as well? LOL, he’s lovely anyway, I really like those big ears of his! It’d be great if you could keep us posted in a while so we can see how he grows up and how he turns out! :)

Another little squishy thing... Turns out you get a big bulldog that breathes properly, not bad at all for this little crossbreed :-)

@Amie de Boxers yes, they definitely are. They’re prone to slipped discs because they’re what’s known as a chondrodystrophic breed – a bit of a mouthful, I know! – but it basically means they can be susceptible to cartilage degeneration 😉 anyway, fingers crossed this adorable little fluffball is spared from it 😍

    Here’s my girl😁

    Thanks for your replies

She’s lovely.. Very lively but she’s a quick learner 😊

My Husky is a bit jealous because she’s very possessive of me, but we’re getting on alright 😊
