French Bulldog x Staffy cross - advice needed

Hi everyone,

I've already posted asking for some training tips for my new puppy, Kaicha, who is a French Bulldog x Staffy cross.

I already have a 3-year-old Husky, but it seems to me that Frenchies can be a bit more fragile health-wise.

Could you let me know if you've run into any specific issues or if there's anything I should be extra careful about?

I'll admit I don't know much about this breed; I rescued her from a family who were about to drop her off at the RSPCA 😕 She's 4 months old.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Patience and kindness are the best approaches to focus on. Encourage the positives but, most importantly, completely ignore any negative behaviour and you’ll end up with the loveliest dog to live with day-to-day. Brigitte from Belgium

Hello. I rescued this little sweetheart 9 months ago now.

    She’s a Frenchie cross Staffie.

She’s so tiny compared to her brothers and sisters.

Your dog’s mix is really interesting; she’s absolutely gorgeous.

She reminds me of my own girl.

Our little Myla weighs around 1 stone 10 lbs (24 lbs) now, and it was touch and go for a while as we rescued her at 3 weeks old when she weighed just 14 ounces.

    A quick update😁

Nearly 16 months old now. Weighing around 47 lbs (3st 5lb)... quite a character, but still just as lovely and cuddly as ever🥰

    She’s such a gorgeous little fluffball 🥰

    Size-wise, she’s certainly a far cry from a bulldog! 🤣

He’s absolutely precious, this little lad... And what’s a Frenchie-Staffy like temperament-wise? I love that little snub nose of his 😄

Temperament-wise, she’s full of beans 😅😅 but she’s lovely and so cuddly 😊

He’s absolutely adorable, this little fella...

    And what’s he like temperament-wise, being a Frenchie-Staffy cross?

I really love his little snout, it’s so perfectly snub-nosed 😄
