Hi there,
So, how long did it take to heal up, please?
Happy holidays!
And as the Provéto Junior guide suggests
Hi Romain 🙂
"do get it checked by a vet if you're in any doubt, though."
the nose is such a sensitive spot!
If it’s definitely just a scratch and it’s on or near the nose, I’d go for Chlorhexidine rather than Betadine 😉 followed by a thick layer of organic Propolis or thyme honey. Use a sterile gauze pad under a crepe bandage or some vet wrap (and maybe even a cone) to stop them scratching at it; this allows the honey’s antiseptic properties to work and help with the healing. You can change the dressing once or twice a day depending on the state of the wound. Once a scab starts to form, ease off or stop the Chlorhexidine and just stick with the honey...
Keep an eye on it to make sure it’s healing well.
It’s weird seeing two such similar cases just a day apart…! 🤪

Good evening,
Thanks for your reply. You’re right, the wound isn’t raised, so I think it’s just a scrape.
I’ll keep cleaning it and keep an eye on how it’s healing.
Thanks again, have a good evening
