I think you’re supposed to look at the testicles, but how can you tell for sure (without asking a vet, of course, otherwise I wouldn't be asking on here)? Thanks!

The dogs only see a vet in an emergency... mine didn't see one once in the four years he spent in a kennel. I know it’s not exactly ideal, but since I’d wanted to volunteer at a rescue near me, I ended up getting attached to this old boy, even if the conditions are far from perfect...
