❤️Meet Ronnie, the most gentle giant!❤️

🐶Name: Ronnie
💕Age: 2 Years
🌻Gender: Male
📏Size: Large (32kg)
📍Location: Birmingham
🏡Home requirements: Would be best in a home without children even though he is so gentle and lovely, due to his reactivity and need for a quiet environment. He can live with a smaller, calm dog and cats.

❤️Meet Ronnie, a loving and affectionate dog who is looking for his forever home. Weighing in at 32kg, Ronnie has a gentle nature and a calm energy that makes him a delightful companion. Despite some initial fear aggression and leash reactivity, Ronnie has been working with a trainer to improve these issues, and he is making great progress.

🧡Once Ronnie knows you, he showers you with love and excitement. In the mornings, he greets you with joyful whines and songs, eagerly seeking cuddles and strokes. He loves to roll on his belly and put his paws on you, showing his sweet and cuddly side. Ronnie lives harmoniously with the cat in his current home, respecting his space after realising he might be a bit too big for play.

💖Ronnie is a low-energy dog who enjoys leisurely walks, taking in the sights and smells around him. At home, he often settles down for a nap in his bed or a sunny spot by the window. Occasionally, he gets a burst of energy, especially when paddling in a river, but he is generally calm and content.

💚Ronnie enjoys playing with smaller dogs, though he sometimes needs guidance on how to play. He is toilet trained and lead trained, but he can be reactive to larger dogs. Ronnie can be left alone for up to 5 hours without any separation anxiety, though he has been known to counter surf, so it’s best to keep things out of reach.

💜Ronnie’s favourite activities include sleeping in the sun, paddling in the river, and singing in the morning when he’s excited for a walk. He is completely toilet trained and lead trained, but he is scared of loud noises and needs a child-free home.

💙If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and cuddly companion, Ronnie would be the perfect addition to your family. He is ready to give you all the love and affection he has to offer.

🩺Ronnie is a healthy boy who is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed and brucellosis tested.

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter's expense.
