Meet Scout, “Scout is a very gentle and loving boy with the people he trusts the most. He loves being stroked and soaking up all the cuddles from his humans. He is very respectful and gentle. He can be a little nervous around sudden movements and noises and would prefer a quieter home. All Scout wants is love and he will love you back 100% more.
Scout would prefer a garden in his new home, he loves to be outside laying around, especially in the good weather” 💞
Scout has been around small children and likes to watch them from afar, if approached he will allow a stroke however he will move away after, it is felt he would prefer a home with children 10+ who can respect his boundaries and not overwhelm him. He is always a very gentle boy 👶
Scout has not lived with dogs in the home, he is very good with dogs on walks however can be nervous if they suddenly approach him or are too bouncy around him. He can therefore share his home with respectful female dogs with slow introductions 🐾
Scout accepts a collar, harness and lead. He is very good on the lead and walks well without pulling however he can get excited and will need continued work on the lead as he can zigzag to take in all the nice smells. He loves his walks and will spin in excitement when his family mentions "walkies", he also does this for dinner and treats as he is very food motivated 🐕🦺
Scout can bark at cats on walks. He would prefer a cat free home🐈
Scout is toilet trained but is not crate trained. He has never shown any guarding behaviours and will happily allow people to touch his bowl and food with no issues. He has never been destructive and can be left alone currently for up to 5 hours. Scout sleeps well overnight and travels well in the car. 💞
