🚩 ADOPTION BY DONATION 🚩

Meet Clove, “Clove moved to her current adoption home in February 2025, After 1 Month her family have unfortunately made the decision to surrender her due to them feeling they cannot deal with her training due to her deafness and also feeling they cannot manage her anxieties and fears, this has resulted in her nipping a behaviourist who came into the home although this did not break the skin and also snapping at her owner and visitors on multiple occasions although not making contact. It is felt this is due to fear as well as her recent deafness.

Clove can be initially very fearful of new people visiting the home which can cause her to bark and snap if they approach her. She will settle once she has been introduced and gained her confidence and is very lovely and friendly however she can be easily spooked. It is felt this may be due to her deafness and not coping with this.

Clove is a lovely affectionate dog, loves cuddles play and belly rubs” 💞

Clove has never been around children, it is felt she would prefer a child free home 👶

Clove has had mixed reactions around other dogs, within the kennels she had incidents in which she attacked dogs however she was okay with her Dad on most occasions, she could also be reactive out on walks.

Since being in her current home she has not shown any reactivity and it is felt that she would need another confident dog in the home to help build her confidence and show her the way. Her new family will need full separation and be able to very slowly introduce the dogs to prevent any incidents 🐾

Clove cannot live with cats 🐈

Clove accepts a collar, harness and lead. She is very good and confident on the lead and does not pull. She has been good with all of the dogs she has met but can sometimes be reactive towards people 🐕‍🦺

Clove is not toilet trained or crate trained. She has never been destructive and can be left alone for up to 2 hours with no issues. She sleeps okay overnight too 💞

Clove has recently been diagnosed as deaf, she will need a family who have experience with deaf dogs and can continue working with her 💞
