🐶Introducing Buddy, a delightful pup who is just over 7 months old and weighs 19.5 kg—an ideal size for cuddles and play! Buddy is not just a dog; he's a loving companion who thrives on affection and enjoys snuggling up on the sofa after an energetic day of play. His favorite pastime is engaging with other dogs, showcasing his friendly and sociable nature, he also loves attention and fussed from his humans. Though he was initially nervous around moving cars, Buddy has shown remarkable improvement and is steadily gaining confidence. He has become accustomed to the sight of horses and sheep when on a lead, although he hasn't had a chance to meet them off-lead yet.

🧠His toilet training is spot-on; he will let you know when he needs to go by either going to the door or wandering around in a little dance to signal his urgency. Buddy has also mastered several commands—he sits and waits patiently for his meal when prompted with "wait," and eagerly responds to "Ok Buddy" when he can finally dive into his bowl. He knows how to sit and wait for his harness before heading out on walks, and he can lay down to enjoy his chew or bone when instructed.

🦮As for working on a lead, Buddy excels! He walks like a dream, making outings an exciting adventure. He is also crate trained and settles down after a few minutes of initial whining, ready for a cozy rest. Buddy has had positive interactions with children; where he has met children as young as 4-years-old and showed no concern, Socialising with other dogs is another strength of Buddy’s. He has also displayed calm curiosity towards cats.

💕While Buddy has made incredible strides, he does have some fears, including fast-moving cars and sudden movements, along with a notable apprehension towards household appliances like the vacuum cleaner, lawnmower, and hairdryer. However, with a little love and patience, Buddy’s gentle spirit shines through, and he is bound to flourish in a supportive and understanding environment.

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter's expense.
