Does anyone know why cats smell so good? Sure, they spend ages grooming themselves, but if we did the same – I mean, washing ourselves by licking – I doubt we’d smell half as nice... I reckon they must have something in their saliva, like a natural self-cleaning detergent? ;) Dogs lick themselves too but they have a very strong scent (which personally bothers me, and is one of a thousand reasons why I prefer cats). A healthy cat smells of themselves and their home ("smell my cat and you'll know if I'm clean", lol). When Félia has been sleeping on my freshly washed duvet, she smells like washing powder! So, what do you think? Does anyone have an explanation for that famous natural cat smell? <\/p>
