Hi everyone, I’m bumping my thread because their stools have gone soft again...
Despite the probiotics, which worked for about three days, their poo is back to being soft even with the supplements, so I’ve stopped giving it to them...
My vet told me it was definitely due to the change in dry food, no doubt about that.
I’m not really sure what to do; they’re doing brilliantly, playing all day long and sleeping well—basically no change in behaviour, and no blood in their stools either.
I must admit I’m at a bit of a loss. I’m still in the middle of transitioning their food, and I’m wondering if it’s actually the mix of the two that’s giving them soft stools.
Does anyone have any advice or have you been through something similar?
Thanks for your replies, I hope they’ll help me out.
Okay, thanks so much!
Okay :-) thanks so much for all your advice!!! ^^
And how long do I need to give it for?
Right, I've bought the probiotic capsules.
I'm not sure about the dosage, though?
Is it one capsule a day, or two?
Thanks for your help! ^^
I'm actually feeding them Orijen? I don't really get your reply then ^^
I swapped Purina One for Orijen. It's actually the switch that's given them soft stools.
