How often do you feed wet food?

"£6.85 for the chicken or fish selection. Compared to that other brand which is more expensive at £9.65 and contains animal derivatives and cereals :)"
Since you’re so intent on constantly contradicting me, at least do it with accurate figures. I’m not knocking what others have to say, but that’s another story entirely.
It works out at £2.75 per lb for the standard brand versus £6.50 per lb for Applaws—that’s more than double the price, but there we go...
I completely agree with you, Sahim. It’s as if we were to eat the same thing day in, day out—we’d eventually end up turning our noses up at the plate. I also prefer preparing small meals... but that’s not the only thing.
Irisb, what I’m about to tell you might surprise you, but it’s often down to what Mitsy asks for. My cat isn't a fussy eater, but she knows what she wants and she certainly knows how to let me "hear" about it. I rotate things based on her reactions: white meat (not cut up, so she has to use her teeth), wet food, sardines (she’d eat her weight in them); she’ll just as happily tuck into ratatouille as she will drink the broth from noodle soup. It’s very varied, but my cat is still a carnivore first and foremost, and I keep that in mind above all else. At the end of the day, it’s up to you to see what feels right and watch your pet's behaviour.
The ideal diet for a cat is a mix of dry and wet food; the wet food provides the hydration they need since cats never drink enough water on their own.
Dry food should be left out for them to graze on, with wet food served as a supplement.
Personally, I give a bit of wet food in the morning and evening. Every now and then, I add some fish lightly baked in foil or a poached turkey fillet (these cooking methods help retain as much moisture as possible for the cats ;) ).
The Applaws trays are really pricey.
I use a high-quality, natural wet food brand that's really top-notch.
I give my cat a pouch every morning.
