So what was it then?
Just scroll back up the thread, all the answers are already there. It looks like it’s just a wasp sting, but if the swelling doesn't go down after a while, book an appointment with your vet.
Hi, my cat’s paw is really swollen too and I’m not sure what to do.
Hi everyone, on Wednesday when my partner and I got back from a long walk, we found that my cat’s front right paw was swollen. I tried to look for a sting but couldn't find anything. It’s Friday today and the paw is still swollen; I’ve decided to wait until Monday to take him to the vet (as I’m at work until then).
My cat is eating, moving and jumping—he seems perfectly fine. But when he’s standing still, he holds his right paw up.

I’m having the same issue as you at the moment... I’ve been following the advice some people have given! I just wanted to know if your cat’s paw felt soft or hard, as I’m not sure if it’s a wasp sting or not? 😕
Thanks

Hi there, my cat had the same thing. My vet told me it was an insect bite; he gave him a jab and it cleared up after that.
