Sick kitten found on the streets is completely transformed one year on

By Elodie Carpentier•

Found all alone in an alleyway when he was barely a month old, this long-haired grey kitten has just celebrated his very first birthday.

Grayson is an adorable kitten who was found wandering the streets alone. With no mother or littermates in sight, the tiny kitten was taken in by the American rescue charity Pet Haven Minnesota, as reported by pet website The Dodo.

Barely larger than the palm of a hand, the tiny kitten needed round-the-clock care.

So, a volunteer named Kris stepped in to look after the little feline.

An unexpected diagnosis

During a veterinary check-up, Grayson was diagnosed with congenital megacolon. This is a serious bowel condition that requires strict and careful management.

Thanks to the right treatment, the kitten overcame every obstacle without ever losing his playful spirit.

Ready for a fresh start

Now living with Jada, another foster volunteer in the US, Grayson has been completely transformed into a lively young cat.

By celebrating his first birthday on 22 September, Grayson reached a major milestone.

Although he has group up surrounded by love and dedicated care, the charming grey cat is now waiting for the final chapter of his story: finding a forever family to call his own.
