If you look closely at her black fur, you can see tiny scattered white spots, like a shower of stars.
In fact, her owner often compares her to a "starry night".
A true social media star
This lovely cat was adopted by her owner from a local rescue shelter, and her daily life has changed dramatically since her days behind bars. Today, Sprite is a TikTok sensation known as "Sprite the Galaxy Kitty", with thousands of followers from all over the world.
Small light spots stand out against her black fur on her flanks, legs, and head. This unique look is caused by vitiligo, a condition that causes progressive depigmentation, making skin and fur lose their colour in certain areas.
New stars every day
Every day, Sprite's "stars" keep appearing. Her owner is constantly surprised to discover new ones! Her markings have intrigued many online followers, with many shocked to learn that cats can also develop vitiligo.
In between her online stardom, Sprite enjoys a normal feline life filled with playtime, naps, and purrs. We are thrilled to see Sprite enjoying her life far from the rescue shelter, being loved and adored by her family and thousands of online followers!
A starry night
