A safe haven in Brooklyn
Out of the blue, a cat found herself abandoned outside the doors of the AMA Animal Rescue centre in Brooklyn, New York.
As reported by the website LoveMeow, the team took her in immediately. Little Pixel was able to rest in a quiet, cosy spot.
Fortunately, the tortoiseshell cat adapted to shelter life quickly. She loved cuddling up in the arms of the volunteers and staff.
Struggling to catch anyone's eye
"She loves attention, cuddles, and is at her happiest when she is spending time with her favourite people," AMA Animal Rescue told LoveMeow.
Pixel is not only lovely with humans, but she is also wonderful with other cats. Yet, despite her sweet nature, Pixel has struggled to catch the eye of a family.
This has left the shelter staff utterly baffled. Even so, Pixel remains hopeful, waiting for that special someone who will love her with all their heart.
