In the village of Merpins, near Cognac in southwestern France, Raven's owners had been worrying about his disappearance for several days. Belonging to a local shopkeeper, the poor cat went missing for five consecutive days, according to local media reports.
The feline was eventually discovered locked inside a neighbour's car. Although he was alive, he was extremely weak, but thankfully, he is now out of danger.
A worrying discovery after days of searching
As reported by the local newspaper La Charente Libre, the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear. However, Raven's owners find it very hard to believe this was just an unfortunate accident.
Owners file an official complaint
Convinced that their pet was intentionally locked away by someone, they have filed a formal complaint with the police. Deeply affected by his five-day ordeal, the cat will need plenty of time to regain his strength and get back to his normal, peaceful life.
