The whole family searched tirelessly for him for months, but sadly, they never found their pup.
An absolute mystery
The last time they saw Rugger, he was in their garden...
Then, in June 2024 – seven years later – Brittany was scrolling through Facebook when she came across a photo that left her completely stunned.
On a group dedicated to lost and found pets, someone had posted a photo of a dog who looked exactly like Rugger.
A woman named Rebecca had found the pup wandering around in her garden.
The dog looked older than when Brittany had last seen him, but she was convinced it was indeed Rugger.
His identity revealed
”I think that’s my dog,” Brittany wrote in a comment on Rebecca’s post. ”He’s been missing for seven years!”
In the meantime, Rebecca took the pup to the vet. An hour later, the clinic called to confirm that it was indeed Rugger!
Brittany and her children were absolutely thrilled when they were able to go to the clinic for the reunion.
Rugger is finally back home, and his family couldn't be happier!
