A similar scare
Worried, Daniella checked his paw. It reminded her of a time a few years ago when Henry limped because of a thorn stuck between his pads. At first, his owner thought it was a similar issue, but she couldn't see anything...
To be safe, she slept with Henry close by so she could keep an eye on him all night. But when they woke up, the dog's condition hadn't changed. So, Daniella decided to book an appointment with the vet to get Henry checked out.
A sudden recovery
Of all the scenarios Daniella had imagined, she never expected what happened next... While Henry was still limping as they walked into the clinic, everything changed the moment he heard his name. All of a sudden, the dog ran towards the consulting room without a single limp, as if nothing had ever been wrong!
During the examination, the vet was able to handle Henry's paw, joints, and pads without causing any sign of pain. The vet even took the dog outside, where Henry walked perfectly normally and even jumped up on the vet to ask for cuddles.
While Henry may have realised that limping got him a lot of attention from his family, it is worth remembering that you should never take this kind of symptom lightly. In the end, the family left feeling relieved, even if Daniella now knows her pup is quite the actor!
