An unexpected pitch invasion
On Sunday 5th May, a match between two Argentinian first-division clubs at the Rosario Central stadium was in full swing. Suddenly, the players were forced to stop after a dog ran onto the pitch.
As reported by Le Parisien, play was stopped in the 13th minute. The dog was seen weaving between the defenders' legs, skilfully dodging the security guards who were trying to catch him.
A worrying disappearance
What the spectators and players didn't know at that moment was that the seven-month-old puppy, named Coco, was being desperately searched for by his owner. The pup had escaped during a walk.
And it was thanks to his appearance at the match that Coco was reunited with his owner. "Coco, the man of the match, is back home. Thank you so much for sharing and a huge thank you to Cami," the young woman wrote on her social media.
