If you love walking dogs, this could be the perfect job for you. Spotted by the Spanish newspaper El Periódico and 20 minutes, an advert posted by the agency Achieve Hospitality is looking for a dog-sitter for a private estate in Surrey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after the family's dog and helping to manage the estate. They will also be provided with accommodation and meals in a cottage.
What the job involves
According to the advert, "this role primarily involves ensuring a constant presence on the property, looking after the well-being and daily routine of the family dog, and assisting the domestic team with light support tasks on the estate."
As for the working hours, the candidate will need to be available from Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm. They are also welcome to move in with their partner and pets.
An incredible salary
The offer was an instant hit, with people rushing to apply as soon as it was published. And it's no surprise, given the attractive salary: £60,000 a year, which is almost €70,000.
