Elizabeth Lutz and Zack Villarreal tied the knot last November. During the service, some very special individuals played a key role.
These individuals, named Zero and Bisky, were actually the ones who brought the couple together. Five years earlier, Elizabeth was out walking her dogs.
During the walk, her dogs ran up to a man who was also out with his pooch.
A beautiful love story
The three dogs hit it off immediately and started playing together: ”Every time we crossed paths while walking our dogs, we would stop and chat for a little longer.”
And just like in the Disney classic, 101 Dalmatians, the two owners fell in love.
A family affair
Sadly, their fairy-tale story took a tragic turn when Zero was diagnosed with kidney failure. He eventually passed away from the illness.
Since he passed away in 2021, the couple have adopted four more dogs and four cats. They also foster animals whenever they can.
When the couple got married last autumn, Charlie and Bisky were naturally the guests of honour — and were very much involved in the ceremony.
”As they’ve got older, Bisky and Charlie have become even more important to us,” said Lutz. ”They aren't just pets. They're family.”
