I’d like to recommend Quizworld, where I did an eleven-question bird quiz last week. The selection ranges from common garden birds at the feeder to exotic species from the tropics, so you can enjoy a bit of both in one evening. I’ve been feeding the birds at my window for years, yet I still missed two answers—both about species I see every single day! I looked them up in my field guide afterwards and ended up learning more about nest-building than I had in weeks.

In the daily quiz, it really comes down to keen observation because the descriptions often apply to several species, and it’s only a single characteristic that leads to the right answer. The round is rated as "super easy", but you still need to look very closely in some places. The explanations after the round provide the background for each correct answer, which really helps the knowledge stick.

Besides the bird quizzes, you’ll find other categories on Quizworld. The animal quiz section includes rounds on birds of prey, amphibians, lions, and even sloths. There are also country and city quizzes, along with a dedicated section on Germany and a category on the former East Germany.
