Hi, I’ve been feeding a feral cat for almost 2 years now. We had such an incredible bond and nobody else was able to get near her. Just like every other day, I went to see her to feed her, but yesterday morning she just sat down quietly about 6 feet away from me. The right side of her face was swollen and covered in blood. I wanted to catch her and take her to the vet, but she slowly moved away, giving me one last look as if she was saying goodbye. Then she went off into the long grass where she usually hangs out. I’ve been looking for her for 2 days now but haven't found anything... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm struggling so much because she's gone off to die all alone 😭

    Keep checking to see if she’s there; perhaps if the pain from her injury eases, she’ll come back to you. Contact a local rescue about setting up a humane trap with some food to catch her safely so she can get the treatment she needs. If she hears your voice, she’ll trust you.
