    Hello, I’m a vet student and I’m so sorry for the loss of your three cats in such a short space of time. Your cat may be unsettled by their absence, but at 15 years old, the crying out, nervousness, and especially the fact she’s stopped eating shouldn’t be put down to depression alone.
    Pain, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, a neurological issue, or another illness could be causing these symptoms; please see a vet as soon as possible. Make sure to tell them about the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the other three cats to rule out a shared infectious, toxic, or environmental cause. If she hasn’t eaten at all for 24 hours, seems disorientated or weak, or is breathing abnormally, contact an emergency or out-of-hours vet immediately.
