My kitten has stopped moving

Since yesterday my kitten has hardly moved at all; he's spending the whole day sleeping and isn't running around or pouncing on me like he usually does. This morning he isn't getting out of my bed at all – he tries to but then struggles, so he just lies straight back down. He isn't asking for his food either. I don't know what to do, should I take him to the vet?

    Hi, Are there any other signs? Pain when you touch him, vomiting, diarrhoea? Anything that could point towards a specific problem. This type of behaviour is abnormal, especially if he is struggling to move around, and it will require a trip to the vet if it persists. Kind regards, Inès
