What's the best way to stop my dog from going into the garden and pulling up my beetroots? How can I manage this? Cheers.

    Hi,

The simplest way is to secure the vegetable patch with some small wire mesh or a fence (or even an enclosure, depending on your dog's size and the layout of your garden) to stop the dog from getting in.

You could also set up a dedicated area for him in the garden with toys so he’s less tempted to go and pull up the beetroots.

And most importantly, when he goes to the right spot, remember to praise him to reinforce this good behaviour (using a toy, some dry food or a treat).

    Have a good day,

    Maëlla
