Hi,
Following on from the previous reply, I would mainly keep an eye on whether the area changes in size or appearance.
Taking a photo every few days to monitor it might be useful for comparison.
Your vet could run some skin tests to try and find an explanation.
Have a good day,

It looks a bit like a small irritated patch or a bald spot… it’s hard to be certain just from a photo, but it could sometimes be down to a little scratch, irritation, a skin reaction, or even a fungal infection like ringworm.
If the area gets bigger, turns red, becomes crusty, or if your cat is scratching it a lot, it would definitely be worth getting it checked out by a vet to stop it from getting any worse (and some fungal infections can also be contagious).
In the meantime, I’d avoid putting any human cream on it without a vet’s advice 🙂

My cat has two strange patches on his forehead with little brown spots. Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
