Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started fostering in Réunion and the situation here is absolutely catastrophic. For understandable reasons, rescues don’t want to hear about Réunion anymore...

I’m trying to understand how it’s come to this because these animals are all facing a death sentence, and I refuse to give up without trying everything I can to help them.

I’d like to use this thread to gather your stories and experiences so I can analyse where the issues lie and find potential solutions. Apart from asking for sponsorships, I’m at a loss as to what else to do...

At the moment, I know of two dogs (one is with me), six sick cats, plus six feral kittens who all need help; none of the 40 rescues I’ve contacted have given me a positive response.
