Looking for animal quizzes

Hi, Quizworld comes to mind. I've played quizzes there about the passenger pigeon, the animals of the Gobi Desert, and the inhabitants of the tundra, and each of these quizzes had its own unique style. The amphibian quiz was about frogs, toads, and newts, the shark quiz was about telling individual species apart, and a proverb quiz all about chickens works quite differently from the other editions. At https://quizworld.de/online-quizze/tier/, you’ll also find a quiz for World Snake Day, one about the inhabitants of the Amazon, and one about birds of prey, plus editions on sharks, mosquitoes, and sloths. This selection regularly leads me to animal groups I might not have looked into on my own until later, such as amphibians or insects.

I started out playing as a guest, as Quizworld is free and having an account is optional. I signed up later to collect points, appear on the leaderboards, and see the answers after each round. Your results are saved so you can compare them with new rounds later. There's also a stats section where your accuracy and response times are shown alongside the scores of the other players.

Besides the animal world, I’ve long since been playing other categories, like the country quizzes, city quizzes, and the general knowledge editions, which I also recommend. The estimation questions add a nice touch because they ask for orders of magnitude, and I usually go for the joke questions for a light-hearted finish.
