Hi, I suspect this won't be read, but I wanted to at least flag several issues. \/p>
You have to go all the way to page 15 to see posts written by actual humans. The forum is currently flooded with spam from spiritual healers. This problem has existed since I created my account, which must be at least four years ago now. We (the forum members) have warned you several times, and you told us you’d do something about it. That was before the site 'overhaul'. In fact, you promised us that this kind of problem wouldn't exist in the new version. Unfortunately, far from getting better, the situation has got worse.\/p>
I also wanted to mention that your site has become extremely slow. I think having pop-up adverts contributes to this; while I understand the need to have ads, I think there are too many for the site to function properly. Obviously, for users, seeing more adverts than content isn't a great experience. The animations and other AI gimmicks probably contribute to the site's sluggishness as well.\/p>
Regarding photos, I’ve noticed you’ve significantly lowered the permitted quality, and I can see why; your site has a lot of trouble loading even the smallest files. When I upload a photo and keep writing, I notice a huge lag between typing a key and the letter appearing. (Note that this only happens on my mobile, an 'old' Samsung Galaxy S7. I can use Wamiz normally on a PC. But I should also mention that my mobile works perfectly fine on any other site or forum).\/p>
I also often get text glitches, but it only happens to me (and only on Wamiz ❔❔❔)\/p>
Oh, and it very often happens that my messages don't send. It's so frustrating for someone like me who takes the time to write long posts. And do you know what the worst part is? I end up rewriting them afterwards.\/p>
It seems to me that Wamiz was sold to a big company that only cares about the money. They probably don't give a toss about animals. I keep hoping the forum will change for the better, or at the very least, that the community will keep it alive, but the forum seems to want the opposite. I don't get it; I’ve sort of grown up with this forum—we had fun, shared things, laughed, messed around, got informed, debated... There are several members I’ve never met in real life but will never forget. That’s what the forum was like. It was a community for helping each other and sharing. 'Our walks of the day', 'Chitchat thread', 'Photo competition'... these were topics I always saw at the top. I’d jump on notifications to see who had posted. To be honest, that still happens today, but it's much less active and loads of people have jumped ship for the reasons I mentioned earlier. I also notice there are fewer discussions; the way the forum is designed to be read from the most recent to oldest message makes chatting difficult. It’s just posts and replies now, no more discussion, no more exchange, no more forum.\/p>
