Having tried both DIY raw feeding and pre-made complete meals, I would say there are pros and cons to both options. Raw meals I found gave me more control over the ingredients, and actually worked out as the more affordable option (I was buying from local suppliers), but I found the planning and prep very time consuming and I worried about nutrient deficiencies for my boy. In the end I've ended up moving over to pre-made raw meals, as I find it reassuring to think they've been formulated by a nutritionist and they're nice and easy to thaw and serve. Perhaps a little more expensive in the long run, but I think this is the option that works best for us for the time being.
