Hi, we have a 9-month-old Chihuahua. We put a Scalibor collar on him last night, but we had to take it off this morning because he was acting strangely. When he settles down, he has these little moments of panic; it looks like he's seeing things that aren't there and he seems a bit skittish.

We’ve bathed him twice since then to help wash off the product from the collar.

Do you know if this is an adverse reaction?

    Regarding fleas, for me, only spot-on treatments have actually worked. Over the course of 3 to 4 months.

    In any case, these solutions come at a cost, which is admittedly debatable.

    On this site, which provides the product leaflet, it mentions neurological issues: tremors, delirium or lethargy = consult a vet.

    I'm not a fan of collars myself. They are intrusive and contaminate surfaces.
