Waiting time for cuddles after flea treatment

Hi everyone, and thanks to those who take the time to reply.

My cat had a check-up at the vet on Thursday morning. The vet applied a flea and worm spot-on (Stronghold), but I completely forgot to ask how long I should wait before touching him.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking that after 72 hours, I should be safe to give him cuddles, strokes and kisses again.

Thanks!

    Hi there,

You can definitely give your pet a cuddle right away, just be careful not to touch the area too much if it’s still damp so you don’t get any of the flea treatment on yourself. The product is applied directly to your pet's skin, but a little bit might still be on the fur. If you do notice you’ve got some on your hands, just give them a wash—there’s no need to worry.

    Best regards,

    Manon
