Unsure: How long between the last evening walk and the morning walk?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice as I'm a bit unsure about something. My dog has recently become house-trained, but I've got a concern (we live in a flat).

His last walk is between 5pm and 6pm (and then he goes out again around 5am the next day). I should mention that I used to take him out around 9pm, but he didn't actually do his business then (I got the impression he just didn't want to go out at that time).

Is it a problem for him to wait that long (from 5pm or 6pm until 5am)? I mean from a health perspective (he's 1 year old). He doesn't ask to go out and after playing, he sleeps right through until the following morning.

Just to add, during the day he gets 4 walks (a quick one after waking up and 3 long ones of nearly an hour each), totalling about 2 and a half to 3 hours of walking time.

Thanks

If it seems to suit the dog, then it’s fine, I guess. That works out as about twelve hours between the last wee of the night and the first one the next morning. With my lot, I think it’s usually about ten hours or so (adult dogs).
