I put out fat balls in the winter (from October to March) but mainly sunflower seeds. From spring onwards though, I let the tits deal with the insects, caterpillars and the like. I also leave out water bowls all year round, especially during heatwaves. Do let us know what the vet has to say; I wouldn't worry too much just yet. Best.

As mentioned in the first post, it's been since late Monday afternoon, and there's been vomiting and diarrhoea since then. It's a fatty lump and not dry food. His own food has suited him perfectly since birth.

The ingredients are: cereals, oils and fats, seeds, minerals, and antioxidants. I really hope it’s nothing too serious... the appointment is at 4:45pm. She’s still playing outside, but I’m bringing her back in now as I don’t want her to overdo it. She’s on an empty stomach, at least.

We put some up in our trees on Monday. We put them out all year round, and I honestly don't know how or why she managed to get hold of one. They’re hung so high up as well!! I found the whole mesh bag near the tree, but all the seeds are gone.....

Hi,
How on earth did she get hold of that bird fat ball? They don't usually hold up in the temperatures we've been having lately.
