Where can I find this gorgeous dog?

Honestly Mel, there’s a world of difference between Odin, a classic Bully, and those ones!
They look totally pumped up!
Aesthetically, there’s nothing natural about it anymore – it’s just like a bodybuilder.
Maybe you’re into bodybuilders 😉, but I prefer the decathlete look 🤣.
Seriously though, I love Great Danes, Dogue de Bordeauxs, even Neapolitan Mastiffs, even if I generally prefer more athletic dogs, but this is a totally different ball game!
When you start calling your kennel ‘designer’, it’s basically just a fashion statement...
Mind you, dogs do end up looking like their owners! 🤣

@Emla I don't think these kinds of dogs are just a fad, unlike Australian Shepherds which you see everywhere these days, for example.
I think it's really just down to personal taste. If we're just talking about aesthetics, we all have our own preferences for one type of dog or another.
I've always liked "scary-looking" dogs—not because I enjoy frightening people, not at all. I just like the look of them. And that's exactly why I've got a big lug at the end of my lead, even if I don't think the big goof looks scary at all.
Mind you, I grew up with Great Danes with cropped ears and Dachshunds. It just so happens I bonded more with the big ones.
Of course, you'll always get the odd poser who gets this kind of dog just to show off, but they aren't the majority. There are also people who just genuinely love these dogs.
Take my neighbour, for instance; he has a stunning American Bulldog he got from a rescue centre after the dog had been through two families who mistreated him... and it's his second bully. He got him simply because he loves the breed.
To me, it’s just like those gym lads necking protein shakes while doing CrossFit... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Or like that whole Tecktonik craze back in the 2000s 🤣🤣🤣
I guess I’m just immune to these latest fads... 😅
Well, I’m going to be the odd one out here, but I think those dogs are really ugly and they just don’t look natural!
I’d take a lovely, friendly mongrel any day! 😁
No, it’s a genuine photo, go and have a look at their website and you’ll see it’s for real.
I actually know the breeders personally; they're based in the States and they’re really passionate people.
And all their dogs are absolutely stunning.
Catch you later
@Mel1, it’s a personal choice that I respect, even if I don’t share it. Given that I’m built like a shrimp and have a bit of a "pink and floral" look, the idea of being "impressive" or intimidating has never even crossed my mind—it’s a completely alien concept to me. And I know for a fact that a dog like that could drag me for yards if he put his mind to it... x)
However, I’m still convinced that dogs modified solely to make them look "tough", plus ear cropping, aren't really for people who truly love the breed. And what about those Pocket Bullies with monstrous health problems that are supposedly very "impressive"? (Well, as impressive as a dog that’s only about a foot tall can be, anyway).
Prague is handsome; he's not my type of dog, but he’s a fine-looking lad, I won’t deny that. On the other hand, I have zero time for breeders who resort to mutilating dogs just to make a sale, or more generally, to heavy physical modifications that are far from harmless, all for the sake of making a dog look more and more intimidating.
Mind you, this breeder is far from the most problematic one. The advice they give seems more than decent, ear cropping is left up to the customer, and the dogs are very muscular without it getting ridiculous.
I still wonder about that look in their eyes, though ;p
