Hi Aggie
Norkham has got into some good habits by varying his diet 👌
Hiya!
No worries at all about the links.
That bond is definitely built through the tummy too 😁 which is a massive help with training.
I can certainly confirm that it’s just as much of a joy for us to share as it is for my girls to get a little something from our "bowl" – I just love seeing that joy of sharing.

As for training, Oxane is currently learning to retrieve hidden dummies in the garden (since we’re doing less swimming lately).
I want to teach her to tell two colours apart, but it’s a bit of an uphill struggle with her ^^ even with plenty of fuss and treats...
😁
Thanks Doudou for the links, I’ll have a look 😉

Yes, I’ve also read that giving a puppy a variety of things helps develop their sense of taste and smell. My partner isn’t against this idea of discovery. It’s only natural for any living creature.
What you’ve said is quite reassuring (even if I wasn’t too worried myself), so I’ll try to talk him round... Orphée is our first dog, so we’re still a bit hesitant and finding our feet in some areas.
He needs to be on board so we can do it together – training is a joint effort, so I can’t go behind his back... even if it’s very tempting! 😁😁😁
In my BARF list, you’ll find all the ingredients (dairy, fruit, veg...)

and some treats here..

Any worries? 👎 No, you’re going to make your pup very happy... (As for their tastes, I actually start as soon as they arrive—it’s all part of the learning process, just like training..^^
This week Oxane had some sweet potato fries (5 of them) with coconut oil on the side after her meal.
she almost had the cheek to beg for mine as well ^^

Really?
Well, I’ve always let my dog try loads of different things and she’s never been a fussy eater.
Ah, someone mentioned Babybels to me as well...
To be honest, apart from a couple of bits of Comté a few months ago and some bits of hot dog to get her to take her tablets, plus a few bits of carrot this summer that she ended up not liking, she hasn't tried anything else of what we eat...
Since she doesn't turn her nose up at her own bowl and doesn't steal from the table or beg, I reckon it could be fine... Obviously, she might crane her neck to have a sniff when we're eating (she's got a flat face, so she’s not exactly subtle lol, she really struggles! 😂), but we don't say anything and she just goes to lie down or play further away.
Hmm, my partner is worried about opening Pandora's box... He says it’s not the right time yet because she’s still young and in her "teen" phase... She might get up to mischief while we’re out, so he’s scared it’ll just lead to more "trouble"... But I find it so hard to resist 😁 there must be something wrong with me!
Same here when I first got my puppy, I give goat's dairy... cow's soft cheese too... various cheeses and all through their life.
No issues at all... my homemade yoghurts and my creams... coconut, plant-based milk, our morning smoothies.
Personally, I prefer Babybel, but without the red wax!
(The lad in question reckons his dog gulps down air easily because of the shape of his snout and his jowls acting like a suction cup ^^ lol)
